The high temperatures are one of the main reasons, you can expect clear blue skys almost all year round. In the winter months temperatures can reach 70 degrees (F) and summer months into the 90's.
There are many activities in the area from peaceful walks to unlimited golf with as many as 20 courses in the region. All types of water sports at the beach and a water park near by. Food prices are some of the lowest in Europe and you can find all types of restaurants.The night life and clubs can be busy in the peak season mainly by the puerto marina. Shopping is a must with all designer-label in the main shopping malls.The Sierra Nevada mountains are less than a 3 hour drive away where in the winter months you can ski in the morning then hit the beach in the afternoon to top up your tan.
